Hi, I’m Michelle Quintero!

I am a Bilingual licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, and Michigan. I have been practicing for the past 4 years in mental health and working as a social worker for 6 years. I believe that everyone has the ability to make positive changes to improve their mental well-being. I prioritize creating a space to process our experiences without feeling judged. My main goal as a therapist is to accompany you on your journey and equip you with tools to deal with your struggles.

hOLA, sOY Michelle Quintero!

My Approach

A therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy. So if you feel we are not a right fit, I would encourage you to search for the therapist for you. I will ask you questions about yourself, family, mental health history, what brought you to therapy, and what goals you have for yourself in the first session. If you decide to continue with me, we can plan what your treatment will look like.

WHY SOW & GROW?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed a new interest: houseplants. I enjoyed buying new plants, researching, and caring for them. My collection grew to nearly 80 plants! Looking back, I realize that it was a coping mechanism that helped me during a time where everyone was struggling. Now I love the symbolism related to plants and growth. Each plant has their own requirements in order to grow… and so do people.
